In silence, found myself treading the rocky and sandy paths in the midst of cool mountain air. Though grasping the thin air every now and then, it felt like the air was flowing through me, and to a certain extent, it was like part of me. Knowing that every single entity in the nature is connected to each other in their very own way, I felt that I was like one of them too! Well, it might not be so accurate to call them as entity since the barrier that divides is already dissolved by their co-dependent relationship. With every step, chanting and singing the Heart Sutra, the fear of being troubled by the fatigue and thin air was almost forgotten.

By opening the heart to the trees, the rhododendron, the snow-capped Naya Kangha, Langtang, and Ganesh Himals, and the passing-by villagers, I started to develop a special relationship with them. It was the feeling that I had never had before. The quietness, the tranquillity of being alone on the trekking path sparked a new kind of connection between the jungle and myself. And hence I started to understand, that that is the mechanism of “being”, of “home going”, going back to what and where we are supposed to be…
