We welcome you upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu. We brief on necessary formalities on your tour and trek program. There will be an ice-breaking of your tour in the evening at an authentic Nepali restaurant. Taste delicious traditional Nepali dinner enjoying the cultural dances. Overnight Hotel in Kathmandu.
Half day Cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu World Heritage sites where your guide will accompany you on a tour of UNESCO enlisted heritage sites. You will be transferred to the places by car. Kathmandu is rich with Newari architectural monument, history, religion, music and festivals promulgated during the medieval Nepal. Hindus and Buddhists worship in a great harmony. The Swoyambhunath temple is an example where you see both Hindus and Buddhists worshipping in the same temple. You will visit two such places in this tour. Overnight in Kathmandu .
Today we visit three UNESCO heritage sites by car. First we drive to Bouddhanath, a Buddhist shrine. The place is popular for the Tibetan Buddhist, an epitome of friendship between ancient Nepal and Tibet. Here you get opportunity to meet Buddhist monks in monastery and get blessed or participate in the regular prayer. Then, visit Pashupatinath Temple. This is the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites of the world. The place is full of Hindu Sadhu BaBa ( ascetics). This is also a place to see the Hindu funeral rituals in the river bank of holy Bagamati river.
Finally, drive to a historical city Bhaktapur. Among the three major city of Kathmandu valley, Bhaktapur is the most antique. Majority of people here are farmers and at the same time carry out the ancestral life style, culture, tradition, festival, religion etc without any significant modification. Walk through the quiet narrow alleys, discover squares and encounter medieval life style. Overnight in Bhaktapur.
After breakfast tighten your lace to embark a five hour’s hiking to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is the hill station, standing above 2000 m to the east of Bhaktapur. Enjoy Lunch on the way amidst the pastoral mood. At the end of hiking, check in to one of the best available view point hotels for the sunrise next morning. Nagarkot is a very pleasant top of the hill best for panoramic Mountain View, and golden sunrise. Over night in Nagarkot.
Have breakfast. Take a short walk of about 1 hour to the top. A tower has been set up there for mountain views. Try it. Back in hotel, your bicycle is ready to roll down to the valley. We follow the motorable road that snakes down the hill. Paddle through Bhaktapur and finally to your Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu
This morning after breakfast, we drive to domestic airport to fly to Pokhara. The flight time is 25 minutes. If you happen to get your seat on right, notice the soaring mountain views.Upon arrival pokhara, check in hotel. Shortly after, we will be ready for sightseeing. We visit old market. It is a place with old designed houses of the city. Then, drive to Mahendra pool. Here, standing on the bridge, calculate the depth of the gorge made by the Seti River gushing over 50m below the main road.
Now we drive back to Davi’s fall. Here you see the real charisma of Nature. The water overflowing from the lake fewa takes the form of a giant water fall. Through the Mahendra cave, about 100m away from the spot, one can descend to the bottom to see the little pool made by the fall. But after that, the water simply disappear into the hell. The local name of the fall is Patale Chhango. Now visit mountain museum and learn about mountain people, mountaineering career and history. (Peace pagoda, fewa boating, Mahendra Pool, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave, Mountain Museum) Overnight in Pokhara.
Today early in the morning after breakfast, hike to Peace Pagoda. Walk up the hill overlooking the Fewa Lake. At the top, find yourself busy clicking the mountain ranges like Dhaulagiri,Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I,II, III and IV, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. After sight seeing have lunch and get ready for scenic drive to Lumbini via Syangja and Waling. It takes about 5 hours.
Lumbini is the Birth place of Lord Siddharth Gautam Buddha. He was born in Nepal in 563 BC. (about 2575 year ago). Visit different places of Lumbini Garden. Stay overnight in Lumbini.
Have more activities visiting different monastery in the morning. Now, it’s time to drive to Chitwan for jungle activities. Stay overnight in Chitwan.
Chitwan National Park is the most successful conservation area. Here, in Himalayan subtropical broad leaf forests, one can see a rare fabulous one horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile which are among 68different species of mammals, 56 species of reptiles, 126 species of fish and 544 species of birds.
Enjoy all available jungle activities: elephant riding to penetrate jungle, elephant bath, bird watching, canoeing, cultural show etc.
After completing the jungle safari we drive back to Kathmandu today. Overnight in kathamandu. Leisure time for the shopping around Thamel, Kathmandu.
